RailBridge Extraction System

Movable extraction bridges – universal application, flexible and safe

With our RailBridge exhaust gas suction system, we offer you a flexible extraction solution for all areas for the maintenance and service or railcars or diesel-operated railway vehicles: it does not matter if it is with fixed or swivellable overhead wires or work platforms or crane systems. The bridge-shaped system with the slotted suction canal system can be used for the widest range of diesel locomotives and railcars.

High-efficiency, low-noise fans ensure the required suction effect and a sophisticated pipeline system in the corresponding nominal width that conveys the suction effect securely from the extraction point to the chimney and outlet.

The extraction unit safely and completely captures all diesel exhaust gases and other hazardous air particles. The air in the hall stays clean and fresh. Upon request, the entire system can be equipped with additional air filters. This means that not only your employees but also the environment benefit from clean air.

The RailBridge system gets high marks with extraordinary flexibility: Due to the modular structure, any number of extract bridges can be integrated. This means that an optimum adjustment to virtually every platform length is possible. All maintenance areas can be safely covered even in very long halls.

With a size of up to 18 metres in width, the movable unit is ideal for use on parallel tracks. Here the capture units run along the bridge crossways to the platform to the lateral position. The bridge itself assumes the horizontal, longitudinal position to the railcar from which extraction is to occur.

They control the machine comfortably and reliably. Various safety devices, such as distance sensors, dead man’s control or light barriers ensure safe operation for people and the machine.

The RailBridge extraction system is mounted on the hall roof structure.
