Strong in the financial hub of Bavaria

Our company headquarters in Meitingen-Herbertshofen is in the heart of Bavaria, just 20 km away from Augsburg. The university town is the seat of the Swabian government. Augsburg was founded over 2,000 ago by the Roman emperor Augustus. Under the influence of the Swabian merchant family Fugger, Augsburg became a significant trade and economic centre. The world-famous “Fuggerei”, the oldest social settlement in the world, is now considered the symbol of responsible social entrepreneurship.

Augsburg is just a stone’s throw away from Neuschwanstein Castle of the Bavarian King Ludwig II, at the feet of the Alps. Germany’s most popular holiday route, the “Romantic Road”, connects the idyllic Allgäu with the world-famous medieval Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Franconia.

Also the state capital of Bavaria Munich is only 80 km away from our company headquarters: with a plethora of cultural and historic attractions and of course the inviting beer gardens and the annual Oktoberfest event site.

Bavaria is the largest state in Germany. Over twelve million people live and work on more than 70,000 square miles. Here global players such as Airbus, Adidas, Audi, BMW, MAN, MTU and Siemens have their company headquarters. Numerous mid-sized companies – such as Blaschke Umwelttechnik – are impressive in the areas of industry, craftsmanship and service due to their high level of performance. Bavaria is in the top position nationally and internationally for virtually all technologies.
